Double Page Spread
After looking at different analysis's and construction's for double page spreads, I decided that I would use the main image as the background as it linked with the dark themes that run throughout the magazine. The main image had to be clear, so I used a medium close up, to show off the 'new duo' the audience needed to see. I have stuck to common conventions and used three columns of articles on each page. Although my magazine's main colour was yellow, I thought that adding red would make this article stand out more, while sticking to my colour theme. The page numbers correspond with the numbers on my contents page. The pictures on the bottom right show the band together in a different photo, and also show the founder of the duo Lucy. The main headline font is '28 Days Later' this gave the spread a rock likeness straight away. The font for the sub-headings 'Tobago Poster', the main text is 'Anton' both of these fonts were used throughout my magazine, including the front cover and contents page.
